Privacy Notice
This notice explains the limited information processed when you visit or play FragZone. FragZone has no player accounts, advertising, analytics, or payment system, and does not sell personal information.
Information processed
- Connection data: your IP address and basic network request data are necessarily processed to deliver the site and game, limit abusive connections, and protect the service.
- Callsign: the callsign you choose is sent to the game server and displayed to other connected players with gameplay events.
- Device settings: graphics quality and mouse
sensitivity are stored in your browser's local storage under
fz-qualityandfz-sens. They stay on your device until you clear site data.
Use and retention
The game server keeps callsigns and per-connection IP counters in memory only while they are needed for the live session. FragZone does not place them in a player database or use them to build profiles. Infrastructure providers may retain ordinary security and diagnostic logs under their own policies. Information may also be preserved when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect the service and others.
Service providers
FragZone uses Vercel to host the browser client, Cloudflare for domain, network, and security services, and Oracle Cloud to host the multiplayer server. These providers process network data as needed to provide their services. FragZone does not authorize them to use callsigns for advertising.
Callsign visibility
Do not use your real name, contact details, or other sensitive information as a callsign. Callsigns are public to other players in the same session and may appear in screenshots or recordings made by those players.
Children
FragZone is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to use it. FragZone does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so it can be addressed.
Your choices and contact
You can clear local settings through your browser and stop session processing by disconnecting. Because FragZone does not maintain player accounts or a persistent player database, it ordinarily has no player record to retrieve or delete after a session. For privacy questions or a request, email jeffersonkline@gmail.com.
Changes
This notice may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
